Arlene Hardy is a lyric coloratura soprano whose education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Vocal Music Education and a Master of Education Degree in Vocal Music and Performance from North Dakota State University. Since college she has continued her vocal education through private study, and by frequently attending workshops, master classes and continuing education courses that pertain to singing and voice production.

Arlene moved to Prescott in 1996. She directed the Women’s Chorale for six years at Yavapai College where she was also the Vocal Music Coordinator of the Voice Department as well as taught private voice from 1996-2004. Arlene founded the Prescott Women’s Chamber Choir in 2002.

Arlene now maintains a busy private voice studio, Windsong Voice Studio. Along with teaching and directing, she gives various master classes, adjudicates for high school regional and choral auditions, and judges and directs high school choral festivals. Arlene has performed roles in opera, musical theatre, and oratorio throughout the Midwest and Southwest. She has performed with the Prescott Chamber Orchestra, the Prescott Pops Symphony, on the Prescott Fine Arts Stage, in the PFAA Concert Series, and more. Arlene resides in Prescott with her husband Russel and their three children.
