School Grants & Scholarships
In Support of Our Youth with School Grants
With its intention to support youth involvement in music, over the years The Pops has contributed over $260,000 to local area intermediate and high school music programs for music, instruments, and uniforms through school grants and scholarships. It has also contributed over $14,000 toward an endowment for music scholarships given to graduating seniors who have been performing with the Pops.
Grant Funds to Support School Instrumental Music Program
One of the missions of Prescott Symphony Orchestra is to support school instrumental music programs in our quad-cities area. One of the ways that we do this is to provide grants for music, instruments, equipment, repairs and teaching assistance (personnel).
Each request considered may be funded at $1,000 maximum per request. Requests can be made at any time, but total grant funding will be limited to the amount budgeted for each fiscal year (January through December).
Each school may be awarded no more than two grants per fiscal year.
Our grants committee will review each request to determine whether it will be funded and the amount to be awarded. We will reply within six weeks to let you know the status of your request and when it may be awarded. You can apply by using the form below:
